Suzanne Shaw

Suzanne is a newcomer not only to the OHP but to the state of Iowa as well. Coming from North Carolina in December 2003, Suzanne has been in theater since the age of 8. She has appeared in over 15 productions with her more recent roles as Mammy Yokum in Little Abner, the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz and was part of the ensemble cast of her favorite musical, Godspell. She has also been involved in many other productions as board member, stage manager, set construction, and all other aspects of backstage work. Suzanne currently lives in McGregor with her husband Victor and their daughter, Darby, at the time of this writing, they are expecting their second child in September. She is thrilled to be working with the OHP and in the beautifully renovated Opera House in Elkader.
